The signing of the Magna Carta for Peace: Theater of the Republic- Querétaro- November, 2012

Union makes strenght, there is no doubt about it!

Dozens of Institutions whose main purpose is achieving peace, have gathered to conform the National Council for Peace (COMNAPAZ), due to the huge effort of Senator Rafael Yerena and Hiram Valdéz.

This Institution made the signing of the Magna Carta for Peace possible in the amazing frame of the Theater of the Republic, same place where the first Mexican Constitution was signed, in the beautiful city of Querétaro.

The message of the Peace Flag, as always, caused big excitement and Nicholas Roerich's message received a standing ovation from the public. Roerich is the initiator of the Peace Flag in the world.

Dr. Carlos Peralta, President of the World Organization for Peace, honored Dr. Alicia Rodríguez for her 26 years of labor throughout the world for supporting the culture of peace. At the same time, Hirám Valdés, ratified her appointment as honorary member of the COMNAPAZ, which she accepted in the Chamber of Deputies in March 2012, time in which she received homage for her work towards peace around the globe. On the other hand, the Huichol Indians gave her a recognition which she humbly thanked as well as the public's ovation she received in tribute.
